
I was honored to be accepted as a Professional Member of IECA in August 2015. As a college admissions expert, it’s a joy to help students find the right college for their needs. Evelyn Jerome-Alexander of Topanga has been accepted as a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) based in Fairfax, VA, as a professional member in the Association.
Professional membership in the Association is reserved for only the most capable and experienced independent educational consultants (IECs). It requires a master’s degree or comparable training and a minimum of three years’ experience in college advising. In addition, members must have visited a minimum of 50 campuses, meet IECA’s professional standards, and subscribe to its Principles of Good Practice.
