WELCOME BACK! It’s been a long, long road for most high school students, who haven’t been on their campus for awhile.
Back to school means college application season is here for seniors. For parents, here are our Four Keys to College Admission Success. To help you get started on building that balanced college list, here’s our quick tutorial on how to research a college.
Parents: Learn how the college financial aid process works, and start to think about what you really want to spend on four years of college. After reading this blog post and watching the webinar (about 35 minutes), go to the practice EFC Calculator on the College Board’s website to start to understand what colleges will expect you to pay.
This three-week program will give your rising senior all the info they need to build a balanced college list, present their activities effectively and write compelling essays. ZAP students will attend six live group meetings with Magellan founder Evelyn Jerome-Alexander, as well as two one-on-one meetings with one of our trained college counselors. ZAP students may also send final college essays for review.
Classes will begin September 20. You can add individual counseling time if you want. At $795, this is truly affordable college application guidance!
College admission looks very different today than it did when we applied 20-something years ago. Admission rates are a fraction of what they were when we applied – and the process is much more unpredictable. You can work with your child through the process, but it’s ok to ask for help from experts.
We’ll take you from #HotMess to #StressLess!
Our counselors are now booking clients in the Class of 2023 and 2024.
Host A Virtual “College Info” Seminar For Friends
Are your friends starting to think about (read: get anxious about!) college? You can host a private virtual college admissions information seminar for your friends or fellow “pandemic pod” parents! We can tailor our presentation for parents of 8th, 9th, 10th or 11th grade students.
We do not charge for presentations.
