We’re thrilled that not only do our fabulous clients Alexandra and Sam love their college choices (Georgia Tech and Boston University), they are going to prom together!
As the magical May 1 Commitment Date has passed, we are pleased to share with you results from our clients’ successful college application process this year!
Our team of 8 counselors worked with approximately 110 students in some capacity. Some were long-term, meaning we worked with them for 2 years from the end of their 10th grade year; some were hourly clients who asked for just a little bit of help towards the end of their application process.
Sometimes our clients don’t report their college acceptances to us! But from those who have shared their results, here’s what we know:
435 acceptance letters
from 175 different colleges
221 different merit scholarship offers to 50 different students
totaling over$12.5 million
And the most important statistic of all: 110 families are still speaking to each other.
We asked some parents – some whose kids worked with us and some whose kids did not – to share some “nuggets” of advice they wish they had known a year ago. Here’s their advice.
