December College Admission Update

Remember last month when we told you that some of our Class of 2022 seniors had already received college acceptances?  Our 158 seniors have submitted over 940 applications.  Eighty-eight of them have received 199 offers of admission from 61 different colleges and universities (all of the colleges above!).  And 46 of them have been offered merit scholarships totaling almost $4.7 million at this point – and we’re just getting started!

Bottom line: the stress goes down when the college acceptances start rolling in.  THAT’S why we start early!

Here are some college essay resources for seniors working on applications:

PARENT CORNER
College admission looks very different today than it did when we applied 20-something years ago.  Admission rates are a fraction of what they were when we applied – and the process is much more unpredictable.  You can work with your child through the process, but it’s ok to ask for help from experts.
