Just got back from a three-day, seven-campus tour in Central and Northern California. I went with three other counselors, plus 48 students from the high school where I volunteer. We had about 5 freshmen, mostly sophomores and juniors and a handful of seniors, and we were fortunate to be able to visit alumni from our high school at most of the colleges we visited!
I’m working on updating my “Campuses Visited” page to share my impressions of three colleges I’d not visited before: UC Merced, University of the Pacific and San Jose State University.
We also visited UC Berkeley (my third trip – I can give the tour myself now!), UC Davis, Santa Clara University (the best college food you will find in CA!) and Stanford University.

Next year, we could be visiting them at one of these schools!
