I toured USC yesterday, and my tour guide Andrew (a senior from Orange County, CA) talked a lot about diversity among the students he has met over the last four years. At USC, where the international student population is over 15%, much higher than the national average, diversity goes beyond meeting students of other ethnicities and from other states.
Andrew also spoke a bit about the importance of the alumni network at USC, which is very powerful for students looking for internships and jobs after they graduate.
