College Counselor Shelley Randles

Shelley Randles has spent her career working with students, the last 16 of them in college admission consulting. She began her work with a college access community based organization, Uncommon Good, as a coordinator of a mentoring program that guides first generation families and their students in the college process.

After Shelley earned her master’s degree in Educational Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Services credential, she began her independent educational consulting practice. Her approach to counseling is meeting kids where they are and guiding them achieve their goals. She focuses on a student’s strengths, helping them create personal narratives, and providing opportunities for students to mature and grow.

Shelley is a member of multiple professional associations centered on college advising and admission, and subscribes to the ethical principles and guidelines which centers students in this practice. Shelley works 100% virtually as of 2023.
